A competition has been announced to find a manager for part of the premises in the center of Kyiv, on Khreshchatyk, that belonged to the former MP, oil and gas trader, and state traitor Oleksandr Onyshchenko.
This pertains to the property of LLC "Maidan-Plaza," valued at 35 million 151 thousand 490 hryvnias. The announcement for the auction, scheduled for December 26, 2024, has been posted on the public procurement website Prozorro.
It is reported that the non-residential office spaces belonged to individuals affiliated with Onyshchenko and were transferred to the National Agency for the Detection, Search, and Management of Assets Obtained from Corruption and Other Crimes (ARMA) by court order for management.
The building housing the property is part of the premium residential complex ЖК "Capitol," with the premises located on the first and second floors and having a separate entrance, as stated on the Facebook page of the Agency.
ARMA has prepared all necessary tender documentation for a transparent competition to select a manager who will ensure monthly revenue to the state budget from the management of this property.
From open sources, it is known that Onyshchenko is a former boxer, equestrian athlete, organizer of numerous horse competitions, and beauty pageants "Miss Ukraine." He is accused in Ukraine of high treason, organizing a criminal group, and corruption. He fled from Ukrainian law enforcement to Europe, lived in Belgium, Spain, attempted to seek political asylum in Britain, and currently resides in Germany, where he has acquired property and applied for German citizenship.
In January 2021, personal sanctions were imposed against him by the U.S. Department of the Treasury for interference in American elections and participation in a Russian external influence network.
