Journalists from the YouTube project "In the Shade of the Chestnut" conducted an investigation
Last week, the capital was shaken by a scandal involving the exposure of a den of vice in the residence of Kyiv's mayor, Vitali Klitschko. It turned out that the ownership threads of this "strawberry" salon lead to some well-known and respected individuals.
This and more is discussed in the latest episode of the YouTube project “In the Shade of the Chestnut”.
0“Various malicious individuals rushed to accuse our honorary champion (who also happens to be the mayor) of owning this den and almost pimping alongside his associate Arthur Palatny. And I must say, that is indeed slander. In reality, the non-residential premises where, quite coincidentally, 'night butterflies' and their pimps gather, are owned by the JSC 'Theatrical', the official beneficiaries of which are: some Vladimir Klitschko, along with Lydia and Leonid Palatny. And certainly not our mayor and his friend Arthur Palatny,” — wrote on Facebook the blogger-investigator Vladimir Bondarenko.
Perhaps, it wouldn't have been such a big deal, but at the address where the police conducted the searches, the company 'Theatrical' is registered. This is confirmed by information from the register.
1Moreover, in the documents, the brother of the capital's mayor, Vladimir Klitschko, is listed as the ultimate beneficiary of the mentioned company. Leonid and Lydia Palatny are shareholders with significant stakes: 13.7% and 19.5% respectively.
2Thus, the web of connections in this story leads both to Klitschko Jr. and to the Palatny family. Notably, along with JSC 'Theatrical', they are linked through a number of companies sharing common phone numbers and beneficiaries.
