Transparency: The Prosecutor General's Office has decided to translate documents into dozens of languages.

The agency will spend a significant amount on linguist services

The Office of the Prosecutor General is seeking specialists to translate over 13,000 pages of documents into 36 foreign languages, for which they are willing to pay more than two million hryvnias.

The relevant information about the tender announcement is posted on the electronic procurement website Prozorro.

According to the tender documentation, the OGP plans to translate documents into Azerbaijani, English, Arabic, Bulgarian, Greek, Georgian, Danish, Estonian, and Hebrew. Additionally, translations will be needed in Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Korean, Latvian, Lithuanian, Macedonian, Dutch, German, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Romanian, Japanese, Persian, and others.

The cost of translation services will amount to 2,736,585 UAH. Currently, the customer is reviewing proposals from potential translators, and the deadline for service completion is December 31 of this year.

Recall that the management of the "Mezhyhirya" residence, which belonged to the former fugitive president Viktor Yanukovych, intends to purchase four electric golf carts for nearly three million hryvnias for conducting tours.
