Several criminal cases have been initiated against the KP "Spetszhytlofond"
Kyiv deputies are planning to increase the charter capital of KP "Spetszhytlofond" by three billion hryvnias. This was reported in the latest episode of the YouTube project "In the Shadow of the Chestnut".
The draft resolution "On Increasing the Charter Capital of the Communal Enterprise for the Maintenance and Operation of the Residential Fund of Special Purpose 'Spetszhytlofond'," which has not yet been voted on by the Kyiv City Council, proposes additional funding for the enterprise from the budget of the capital community – that is, from the funds of Kyiv taxpayers.
At the same time, during 2020-2021, financial violations totaling 70.4 million hryvnias were identified in the enterprise's activities, including ineffective use of property and funds amounting to 19.4 million hryvnias.
In August 2023, the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office announced suspicion against the former first deputy director of KP "Spetszhytlofond," and in October of the same year, sent an indictment to the court against the current director of the enterprise for negligence, which caused damage to the Kyiv budget amounting to 21 million hryvnias.
Why, despite a series of criminal proceedings, the management of "Spetszhytlofond" continues to operate – watch in the new episode of the YouTube project "In the Shadow of the Chestnut".
