Over 250 people hospitalized
From January 27 to February 2, the incidence of influenza and ARVI in the capital increased by 22.7 percent compared to the previous week.
This is reported by the Kyiv City Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
The total number of new cases last week reached 11,565, including 7,442 children (+34.5% compared to the previous week).
Among children, the majority are school students (4,202 cases).
During the week, 212 children and 47 adults were hospitalized.
As noted by the KMC CP, the weekly intensive morbidity rate is currently twice below the epidemic threshold.
