The capital of Ukraine ranks 125th in terms of living standards among 141 cities in European countries.

According to the study, the average monthly salary in Kyiv is nearly 23,300 UAH. At the same time, monthly living expenses (excluding housing rent) in the Ukrainian capital amount to 21,000 UAH, while the average cost of renting a one-bedroom apartment is 14,000 UAH.
The top five cities for quality of life are Swiss cities Zurich, Lausanne, Geneva, Basel, and Bern.
It is worth noting that, according to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, Kyiv ranked second in the country last year for the highest inflation index growth.
