Police officers returned a lost boy to his home in Kyiv.
This was reported by the patrol police of Kyiv.
Information about an unaccompanied child in the Podil district was received on the emergency line 112. Upon arriving at the scene, the officers discovered a distressed boy who explained that he wanted to go to his dad's workplace but got lost.
“The patrol officers calmed the child, learned his home address, and returned the young traveler home,” the police stated.
The boy's mother thanked the patrol officers for their assistance and promised to talk to her child about appropriate behavior both on the street and at home.
“Dear parents, remind your children what to do if they get lost and who to turn to for help. Teach them their home address and contact details of relatives. It is also important to explain that they should not talk to strangers or accept any gifts from them,” the police urged the residents of Kyiv.
