Russia reported a massive attack involving over 100 drones, likely targeting an oil depot in Kstovo.

On the night of January 29, Russian regions were targeted by over a hundred drones. In one of the areas, a fuel depot may have been hit.

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported a massive attack.

They claim that air defense systems destroyed a total of 104 drones over the territories of Kursk, Bryansk, Smolensk, Tver, Belgorod, Nizhny Novgorod, Kaluga, Rostov, and Leningrad regions.

According to Governor Gleb Nikitin of Nizhny Novgorod region, drone debris fell onto the territory of a facility in the Kstovo industrial zone. Allegedly, there are no casualties reported, and firefighters are extinguishing the blaze.

At the same time, Russian Telegram channels report that drones could have struck the Lukoil-Nizhny Novgorodnefteorgsintez oil refinery in Kstovo. This is one of the largest oil refineries in Russia, which had already been targeted in the spring of 2024.

Updated at 10:08. A source from hromadske in the Main Intelligence Directorate stated that the oil depot in Kstovo was attacked by GUR drones. According to our informant, all four drones launched at the facility hit their target.

In the Smolensk region, one of the drones was allegedly intercepted during an attack on a nuclear energy facility, stated Governor Vasily Anokhin. Meanwhile, in the Belgorod region, a drone reportedly struck an apartment building in the town of Grayvoron, injuring a man, claims Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov.
