In Pokrovsk, there are areas that rescuers can no longer access, according to the GVA.

In Pokrovsk, located in the Donetsk region, there are now more hazardous areas that emergency responders and evacuation vehicles cannot access.

The head of the Pokrovsk city military administration, Sergey Dobryak, reported on this matter.

The head of the GVA explained that if a fire occurs in such an area, the State Emergency Service (GSChS) would be unable to arrive for rescue. Furthermore, evacuation from there would require walking.

There were about 7,000 civilians remaining in Pokrovsk, while approximately 10,000 were in the Pokrovsk community, as stated by Dobryak.

According to him, all children from the community have been evacuated, although there were instances of families with minors returning — in such cases, they were evacuated again.

It is worth noting that on January 28, Russian military forces attacked a civilian vehicle with a drone in Pokrovsk. One person died, and two others were injured.

On the eve, January 27, the occupiers carried out a targeted strike on the city of Rodynske near Pokrovsk. As a result of the shelling, two people were killed, and three houses and a business were damaged.

Earlier, the Ukrainian command denied rumors about the presence of the Russian army in Pokrovsk. According to military sources, fighting continues on the outskirts of the agglomeration.
