Trump believes Zelensky doesn't need to be present at negotiations with Russia, stating that reaching agreements with them is challenging.

U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky does not necessarily need to be present at the negotiations with Russia.
Трамп полагает, что Зеленскому не нужно участвовать в переговорах с РФ, так как с ним сложно достигнуть соглашений.

He stated this during an interview with journalist Brian Kilmeade on Fox radio.

According to him, Zelensky has done a terrible job negotiating with Russia and has accomplished nothing in these three years.

“He has attended meetings for three years but has achieved nothing. So, to be honest, I don’t think it’s very important to be at meetings. It’s very difficult to make agreements with him,” Trump added.

Additionally, Trump accused Kyiv of speaking “tough,” yet having no “trump cards.”

At the same time, he stated that the head of Russia Vladimir Putin “wants to make a deal,” but he “should not do it because if he wanted to, he would have the whole country.”
