The situation remains challenging: the General Staff has reported on the current developments at the front lines.

Over the past day, December 25, the Defense Forces eliminated 1,540 Russian invaders. Additionally, they destroyed two Russian tanks, ten armored fighting vehicles, 24 artillery systems, one air defense asset, 63 operational-tactical UAVs, 55 cruise missiles, and 63 vehicles belonging to the occupiers.

A total of 217 combat engagements were recorded over the past day.

The Russian forces launched one missile strike using 73 missiles and conducted 17 airstrikes, dropping 35 guided aerial bombs. Furthermore, they carried out more than 5,000 shellings, including 181 from multiple launch rocket systems, and deployed 2,105 kamikaze drones for strikes.

Airstrikes were conducted in the vicinity of the settlements of Nadiya, Zelenyi Hai, Pokrovsk, Kotlyno, Burlatske, Vremivka, Zaporizke, Zelenyi Pole, and Berezove.

Meanwhile, the Defense Forces struck a command post and a UAV control center of the Russians.

Situation by Directions

• Kharkiv direction — the occupiers attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders three times near Volchansk.
• Kupiansk — there were seven attacks by the invaders, with the Defense Forces repelling the enemy's assault actions near Dvurechne, Pyschane, Kolesnykivka, and Lozova. The enemy is trying to exploit its numerical advantage.
• Lyman — the enemy attacked 26 times, attempting to breach the defense near Novohorivka, Kopanky, Zelenyi Hai, Makeevka, Ternovy, Yampolivka, Seredynskiy Forest, and in the direction of Druzhlyubivka.
• Seversk — the Russians conducted two offensive actions in the area of Bilohorivka.
• Kramatorsk — the occupiers attacked 11 times in the areas of Stupochky, Chasiv Yar, and Belya Hora.
• Toretske — the enemy launched 13 attacks near the settlements of Toretsk, Diliivka, and Shcherbynivka.
• Pokrovsk — Ukrainian defenders stopped 57 assault actions by the aggressor towards the settlements of Zelenyi Pole, Vozdvizhenska, Myroliubivka, Promin, Lisovka, Dachenke, Pokrovsk, Novyi Trud, Zelenyi, and Novotroitske. The enemy continues to accumulate forces for subsequent attacks.
• Kurakhiv — the Defense Forces repelled 31 Russian attacks. Some positions of the Defense Forces were destroyed due to the enemy's assault actions and fire impact. The occupiers were most active in trying to advance in the areas of the settlements of Petropavlivka, Slovianska, Yasenovo, Kurakhove, Andriivka, and Dachenke.
• Vremivka — the enemy made 35 assaults on our positions in the areas of Konstantynivka, Yantarnyi, Konstantinopil, Razliv, Velyka Novosilka, Novosilka, Blahodatne, and Vremivka.
• Huliaipole — near the settlement of Bilohrivka, the enemy attempted to breach the defense once.
• Orikhiv — the occupation forces made two assaults on the positions of the Defense Forces near the settlement of Novodanylivka.
• Dniprovsk — the Defense Forces are making efforts to prevent the enemy's advance deeper into Ukrainian territory, successfully repelling three offensive actions.
• Kursk Region — the Russian troops conducted 440 shellings in the direction. The Ukrainian military repelled 26 assault actions, and one combat engagement as of the morning of December 26 is still ongoing.
