Over the past day, Russian forces launched 1 missile strike (using two missiles) and carried out 72 airstrikes, dropping 92 KABs on positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas.
Additionally, the occupiers conducted more than 5,000 shellings, including 130 from multiple launch rocket systems. They also deployed 3,050 kamikaze drones to inflict damage.
The Russian forces targeted areas particularly around the settlements of Zolochiv, Borovaya in the Kharkiv region; Chasiv Yar, Konstantinovka, Toretsk, Grodivka, Lysovka, Myrnohrad, Novoaleksandrovka, Novopol in the Donetsk region; and Huliaipole in the Zaporizhzhia region.
The troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck 7 areas where personnel, weapons, and military equipment were concentrated, as well as 3 artillery systems of the enemy.
In the past day, Ukrainian military forces neutralized another 1,140 occupiers, along with 15 Russian tanks, 9 armored fighting vehicles, 66 artillery systems, 155 operational-tactical level UAVs, 139 vehicles, and one piece of special equipment belonging to the occupiers.
What is the situation in different sectors?
- Kharkiv direction — Russians attempted to breach defensive lines near Volchansk twice.
- Kupiansk — there were 5 attacks from the occupiers, but Ukrainian defenders repelled the enemy's assault actions near Zahryzove.
- Lyman — Russian forces attacked 7 times, trying to infiltrate the defense near the settlements of Kopanky, Novolyubivka, Terny, Yampolivka, and Kolodezi.
- Kramatorsk — the occupiers launched three attacks in the area of the settlement of Vasyukivka.
- Toretsk — the enemy carried out 13 attacks in the areas of Toretsk, Krymske, Shcherbynivka, and Dylivka.
- Pokrovsk — Ukrainian defenders halted 29 assault actions by the aggressor towards the settlements of Vodyane Druhe, Yelizavetivka, Sviridivka, Promin, Pyschane, Serhiivka, Andriivka, Ulakli, Udachne, Nadeivka, and Molodetske.
- Novopavlivsk — the enemy conducted 5 attacks in the direction of Konstantinopil and Burlatske over the past day.
- Orekhovsk — occupation forces stormed the positions of the Defense Forces three times in the areas of the settlements of Shcherbaky and Piatykhatky.
- The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue operations in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. Over the past day, the enemy launched 31 airstrikes, dropping 43 KABs; they conducted 437 shellings, three of which were from MLRS. Ukrainian forces repelled 15 assault actions.
