The video conversations were revealed by Alexey Dmitrashkovsky, a representative of the temporary military command in the territory of Russia.
According to him, the first call with Alaudinov took place on November 29, 2024. At that time, Dmitrashkovsky was discussing the evacuation of 200 local residents from the Kursk region.
The speaker from the Ukrainian command suggested transporting them through Ukrainian territory and then to the border with Belarus. Transferring people across the front line without the involvement of the International Committee of the Red Cross would be a violation of the law, Dmitrashkovsky stated.
“I will specifically raise this issue now, I will talk to her (Russian ombudsman Tatyana Moskalkova – ed.)… What I can resolve, I will always resolve (…) If I give my word, then I will either die or I will do it,” said the commander of "Akhmat."
He also assured that the Russian side is aware that residents of the Kursk region have been placed in a boarding school in Sudzha and that there are no plans to strike there.
During the conversation before the strike, Alaudinov also mentioned that he could “control” and “give an order” to ensure that the boarding school was not bombed. Dmitrashkovsky countered, stating that by that time, the building had already been under fire for two days.
“I am not hitting the boarding school. I do not have such capabilities from my position to strike in Sudzha, at the boarding school. It’s the units coming from the other side that might be hitting,” said the Russian.
The spokesperson from the Ukrainian command noted that with these words, Alaudinov acknowledged that other Russian units could have struck the boarding school.
On February 1, at approximately 17:54, Russian troops struck a guided aerial bomb at the building of a boarding school in Sudzha, Kursk region, which is controlled by the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
Most of the people in the boarding school were elderly. By the time of the shelling, 95 individuals were trapped under the rubble.
As a result of the attack, 4 people died. During the debris clearing, 84 civilians were rescued and provided medical assistance, their health condition is satisfactory. Another 4 are in serious condition.
The General Staff reported that those in need of urgent assistance were transported to medical facilities in Ukraine.
