Ukrainian Armed Forces combat units will receive direct monthly funding of 2.5 billion hryvnias. These funds will be allocated among the brigades of the Armed Forces for the purchase of drones.
Министерство обороны сообщает, что боевым бригадам ВСУ ежемесячно выделят 2,5 млрд гривен для приобретения беспилотников.

This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

In December 2024, the combat units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were allocated 2.1 billion hryvnias for the procurement of drones.

The ministry states that this has enabled a swift response to the needs of the brigades and enhanced the diversification of centralized management.

Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov noted that unit commanders will be able to use these funds to purchase the specific drones that are most effective for carrying out tasks on the front lines.

In December 2024, the Cabinet of Ministers approved a resolution that established the procurement of unmanned systems and electronic warfare (EW) assets of domestic production on a permanent basis. At that time, it was assured that military unit commanders would be able to purchase tactical-level drones and EW systems without unnecessary bureaucratic approvals from the General Staff and other military management bodies.
